Driving/Riding with a Teenager

I do not know how I will survive teaching/riding with teenagers learning to drive. I mean I literally never even imagined it could be so scary.

Ok so what really makes a child old enough to drive. How do parents actually survive this? I will be blogging my experiences very soon.

My Butt fell asleep!!!!

That is what my 15 year old just came in and told me.

I said my butt has never fallen asleep before and he said it can mom if you sit sideways on it just right it will fall asleep.

Who Knew.

Waterfalls

I just love to go see waterfalls. Today we went for a hike to a waterfall that is only about 30 minutes from where we live. It was so beautiful. Here are a few pictures.
This is the beginning of the hike.
I thought it was cool how this tree grew.
The Waterfall. It was beautiful.
DH and I in front of the waterfall. The mist was so wet we had to stand behind the tree to shield ourselves from getting soaked. It was worth it though we had a great time.
I had Andrew go sit out on this rock. It was amazing. Water all around but right where your butt sits is the only place there was not a puddle of water. Water was comming down the sides by him on both sides. It was awsome.
Calvin and Crystal

Crystal our sweet 16 year old.

This it the mountain (hill) we had to climb up and down to get to the bottom of the waterfall. It was very hard to climb back up. I am so out of shape.

At the top. I was so happy to get to the top. This picture was taken because Crystal wanted to catch me not looking my best since I had just climb what I consider to be a mountain. After she took it she looked at it and said wow it don't look bad considering. LOL Teenagers. She thought she had me.

Andrew almost back to the car. It is a 30 minute hike. He said he couldn't go an more.

It was a great time. We had a blast. Can't wait to do it again.
